Melanie Olson holds the CDMP and ITIL certifications and has over 25 years of experience in data services and applications management, currently serving as the Data Services Manager for the State of Minnesota since 1998. Previously, Melanie has held multiple positions including Financial Applications & Data Warehouse Supervisor, Enterprise BI/DW Architect, Database Architect, and Senior Database Administrator. Prior military service includes a role in the United States Army with an honorable discharge. Melanie is pursuing a GIS Graduate Certificate in Remote Sensing and Earth Observation from Penn State University and has obtained a Business Analysis Certificate and GIS-related degrees from the University of Minnesota and St. Cloud State University.
