Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Heritage Conservation from the University of Arizona in 2019, focusing on Historic Preservation and Conservation. In 2014, Ali completed a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Fine Art Conservation with a Certificate from Studio Arts College International. Ali'sundergraduate studies were completed at Loyola University Chicago from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and Anthropology. In 2013, they pursued additional education as a Non-Degree Seeking Graduate Student in Chemistry at Metro State University.
