Ned Hurley

Media Developer at Minnesota Historical Society

Ned Hurley has a diverse work experience in media development and production. Ned started their career in 2010 at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, where they worked in the Interactive Media Group, producing online media to promote and document exhibitions. Ned also assisted in media installation for several exhibitions. In 2012, Ned joined the Minnesota Historical Society as an Assistant Media Developer, and within a year, they were promoted to Associate Media Developer. In this role, they worked until June 2018. Ned then transitioned to the position of Media Developer at the same company, where they continue to work. Additionally, from 2010 to 2018, Ned also worked as a Podcast Producer at The Soap Factory.

From 2007 to 2011, Ned Hurley attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a focus on Film/Video and Photographic Arts.
