Jesse Johnson

Chief Of Sustainment (full-time G4) at Minnesota National Guard

Jesse Johnson has extensive work experience in logistics and military operations. Jesse started their career with the US Army in 2004, where they served as a Fuel and Ammunition Platoon Leader, managing logistics support for a 3,600 personnel organization. Jesse then advanced to the position of Battalion S1 (Personnel) and later served as Battalion S4 (Logistics), responsible for managing the acquisition and tracking of over $53 million in military equipment. Jesse also worked as a Company Commander, overseeing logistics support for 192 personnel.

Since 2010, Jesse has been working with the Minnesota National Guard. Jesse has held various roles, including Training Officer, Warehouse Supervisor, Maintenance Readiness Supervisor, and currently serves as the Chief of Sustainment (Full-Time G4). In this position, Jesse is responsible for overseeing integrated logistics policies and programs, orchestrating and monitoring the execution of sustainment responsibilities, and assessing maintenance, supply, services, and transportation trends to improve logistics support.

Jesse Johnson obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management with a specialization in Army Operations and National Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus in the period of 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, Jesse earned a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Economics from St. Cloud State University between 1999 and 2003. The education history also includes an unspecified period of attendance at Forest Lake, with no degree or field of study specified. Jesse has additional certifications in Advanced Operations Course, Intermediate Level Education, Support Operations, and TS-SCI, obtained from the Command and General Staff College and the US Army.
