Kara Osterman has a diverse background in governmental affairs and policy analysis, currently serving as a Governmental Affairs Administrative Assistant at the Minnesota Nurses Association since February 2022. Previously, Kara held roles as a Policy Analyst at Primacy Strategy Group and a Legislative Administrative Assistant at Lockridge Grindal Nauen, where responsibilities included research, event organization, and administrative support. Early career experiences include an internship with the Rochester Energy Commission, involvement in the Minnesota DFL finance team during significant fundraising events, and multiple internships providing support to U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar. Kara Osterman holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies & Policy and Political Science from Luther College.
