Jonathan Hart

Jonathan "Bearclaw" Hart is an experienced Technical Director with a strong background in production management and technical theater. Currently serving as Technical Director at Minnesota Opera, Jonathan previously held positions as Director of Production at Des Moines Metro Opera and The Flynn, as well as Technical Director at multiple companies including Portland Opera and Broadway Rose Theatre Company. Jonathan's expertise encompasses drafting build drawings, managing professional crew members, overseeing budgets, and enhancing technical theater education through teaching and mentorship. Jonathan holds an MFA in Design and Technology from the University of South Dakota and a BA in Theatre from Saint Michael's College.
