Sarah Larsen

Sarah (Henderson) Larsen is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Manager of the Petroleum Remediation and Redevelopment Section at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) since June 2019. Prior to this role, Sarah held positions as a Supervisor in Technical Services and as a State Program Administrator at MPCA, along with serving as a Project Leader. In 2021, Sarah was redeployed to the State Emergency Operation Center for the Minnesota Department of Health, contributing to the Covid Testing and Vaccination Workgroup. Earlier in their career, Sarah served as the Head General Chemistry Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota Chemistry Department. Sarah holds a Master's degree in Environmental & Occupational Health: Environmental Chemistry from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the College of Saint Benedict.
