Daniel Gunderson

Daniel Gunderson is an accomplished utility professional with over 15 years of experience at Minnesota Power, currently serving as Vice President of Transmission and Distribution. Daniel has held various leadership roles, including Director of Distribution Operations and Manager of Technical Systems, with a focus on Engineering and Labor management across multiple areas such as Distribution Engineering, Substation Construction, and High Voltage DC Operations. Additionally, Daniel has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at Bismarck State College, where courses on energy education and electrical safety were developed and taught. Daniel's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Power Emphasis from Michigan Technological University.
