Kate van Daele

Kate Van Daele has extensive experience in community engagement, communications, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Community and Local Government Affairs Manager at Minnesota Power, Kate previously held the position of Senior Regional Communications Advisor at Cenovus Energy, where notable achievements included a significant increase in volunteer participation. Kate's tenure with the City of Duluth saw success as both a Public Information Officer and Community Planner, focusing on strategic communication and community relations. Additionally, Kate has served as Executive Director for multiple organizations, such as Sue Miller Day of Caring and The Limb Preservation Foundation, demonstrating a strong capacity for fundraising and operational management. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, History, and Leadership from Wartburg College.
