Tom Butz

Tom Butz is a seasoned utility planning professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Utility Planner-Senior at Minnesota Power since May 2022, Tom previously worked at Power System Engineering from February 1999 to May 2022 as a Senior Planning Engineer. Earlier in their career, Tom held the position of Manager of Resource Planning at Cooperative Power from 1986 to 1999 and was a youth leader at Evergreen Community Church in 2008-2009. Tom's academic background includes education from the University of North Dakota and Minot High.
