Hannah Yang

Hannah Yang is a seasoned journalist currently serving as the Senior Reporter for the Southwest region at MPR News since December 2019, where coverage focuses on agriculture, business, environment, and social justice. Prior experience includes roles as a Regional Reporter for MPR News, Education/County Reporter for the Austin Daily Herald, and Regional Reporter for the Post-Bulletin, where responsibilities encompassed various local government and education topics. Hannah began the journalism career with internships at The Columbus Dispatch and Akron Life Magazine, and held editorial roles in several publications, including Editor-in-Chief at FANGLE Magazine and Staff Writer at The Post. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University.
