Benjamin Nelson

Benjamin Nelson has extensive experience in marketing, facility management, and education within the sports and recreation sector. Currently serving as the Marketing & Facilities Coordinator for the Office of Campus Recreation at Minnesota State University, Mankato, since October 2009, Nelson is responsible for marketing and scheduling various facilities and programs. Additionally, Nelson holds a role as Adjunct Faculty and Athletic Equipment Manager at MSU, Mankato, where responsibilities include teaching and managing equipment logistics for the Department of Human Performance. Prior experience includes working as a Live Broadcast Engineer at Radio Mankato, producing local sporting events, and as Game Production - Sound with the Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club. Nelson also held the position of Service Manager at FedEx Ground, overseeing inbound operations. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sport Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, both attained from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
