Elizabeth Finsness

Elizabeth Schneider Finsness Ph.D. is a seasoned academic and administrator with extensive experience in education. Currently serving as a Professor and Director of the Office of Field and International Experience at Minnesota State University - Mankato since August 2013, Elizabeth has contributed to the field since completing a Ph.D. in Educational Policy & Administration at the University of Minnesota in 2008. Prior positions include serving as a Professor at Mankato State University from June 2018 to July 2022, and as the Coordinator for Curriculum and Assessment at the University of Minnesota from 2010 to 2013. Elizabeth also held the role of Director of Instructional Media & Technology at Osseo Area Schools from 1998 to 2009, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing 29 school libraries, managing a significant budget, and leading curriculum development initiatives.
