Jennifer Besel

Jennifer Besel currently serves as the Interim Associate Vice President for University Marketing and Communications at Minnesota State University, Mankato, a position held since May 2022. Jennifer's prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Brand Development at The Creative Company, where responsibilities involved overseeing product development and implementing marketing strategies, and Associate Publisher at Black Rabbit Books, where innovative publishing programs and strategic marketing plans were created. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Editor at Capstone and New Accounts Representative at Carlson Craft. Jennifer is pursuing a Master of Science in Communication Studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has completed leadership training at the Greater Mankato Growth Leadership Institute.
