Kayla Evans

Kayla Evans currently serves as an Assistant Track and Field Coach and Team Learning Specialist at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where responsibilities include coaching distance programs, training development, and national recruitment since August 2021. Previously, Kayla was the Head Girls Track & Field Coach and Head Girls Cross Country Coach at Newport High School from August 2017 to January 2022, emphasizing team cohesion and accountability. Kayla's experience also includes various educational roles at PRO Club, ranging from Lead Outdoor Educator to Kindergarten Teacher, responsible for implementing inclusive and engaging curricula for young children. Kayla holds a Master of Sport and Exercise Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington.
