Kimberly Sommers

Kimberly Sommers is an experienced professional in the field of psychology and counseling, currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Counselor at Minnesota State University, Mankato since August 2014. Prior to this role, Kimberly gained valuable experience as a Pre-doctoral Intern at the University of Minnesota from August 2013 to August 2014 and completed multiple psychology trainee positions at institutions such as the University of Dayton, Ellis Developmental Institute's Assessment Clinic, and Wright State University between 2010 and 2013. Kimberly's career in mental health began as an ACT and CBCM Case Manager at Helping Hands Hawaii from September 2006 to November 2008. Kimberly holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wright State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History from Northwestern University.
