Mark Bowen is an Associate Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, since July 2018, focusing on the influence of natural and human-induced environmental changes on geomorphic forms and processes, particularly concerning soil and water resources. Previously, Mark served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from August 2011 to July 2018. Mark's early experience includes working as a Librarian at Washington University in 2000-2001 in the Earth Sciences and Chemistry departmental libraries. Mark holds a PhD in Geography from The University of Kansas (2004-2011), an MS in Resource Planning from Missouri State University (2001-2004), and a BS in Geography from Missouri State University (1996-2000).
