Matt Schmidt

Matt Schmidt currently serves as the Associate Director of Athletic Healthcare for Men's Ice Hockey at Minnesota State University, Mankato, a position held since October 2015. Prior experience includes roles as an Athletic Trainer at USA Wrestling from July 2005 to August 2017, and as an Athletic Trainer/Equipment Manager for the Sioux City Musketeers from September 2014 to October 2015. Additionally, Matt served as the Head Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Northwestern College from August 2003 to August 2014, and as an Athletic Trainer at CNOS from November 2000 to July 2003, where responsibilities included outreach athletic training for local high schools. Matt earned a Master of Arts in Health and Physical Education/Exercise Science from the University of South Dakota between 2003 and 2006, and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Physical Education from Northwestern College from 1996 to 2000.
