Scott Juhl

Having grown up in St. Paul, Scott Juhl went on to attend and graduate from Mankato State College in 1969 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. In January 1970 he began his elementary teaching career in the St. Paul Public Schools as a 4th-grade teacher and taught there for the next 12 years. During that time, he earned his Master’s Degree in Elementary Administration. In 1982 Scott changed careers and joined 3M in the IT Timesharing group. His first position involved creating and supervising the IT Learning Center for 3M employees in St. Paul. The Learning Center used Computer Based Training to provide IT software instruction. He became a member of the 3M IT Recruiting Team at Mankato State and became the leader of that group.

Following his time in the IT Timesharing group, Scott took on a number of roles of increasing responsibility in management within the IT Operations group. These included application support and hardware support.
