Emily Roiger

Emily Roiger, LSW, currently serves as a Family Resource Coordinator at Minnesota Valley Action Council since January 2018, where responsibilities include coordinating career exploration and training programs for the WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker Training Programs across a nine-county service area. Emily has previous experience as a Family Resource Specialist/Workforce Development Coordinator, where efforts included developing educational materials and facilitating workshops in schools. Other relevant roles include serving as a Shelter Advocate at the Committee Against Domestic Abuse, Inc, providing counseling and support to residents, and working as an Assistant Teacher at The Children's House, focusing on preschool education. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Gender and Women's Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a minor in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management.
