David "Dave" Schwartz is a Senior Manager of Communications & Engagement for the Minnesota Wild. Prior to their current role, Dave was an Assistant Hockey Coach at Southwest Christian High School from November 2016 to March 2019. Dave's broadcasting career began in 2007 as a Sports Reporter/Anchor for KARE 11, where they worked for five years before being promoted to Weekend Sports Anchor in 2012. In this role, Dave won two Emmy Awards, one for Sports Reporting in 2011 and another for On-Camera Talent/Sports Anchor in 2014. Dave was also named the 2012 National Sportscaster and Sportswriters Association Co-Sportscaster of the Year for Minnesota. In 2015, Dave began co-hosting KARE 11's Saturday morning news show in addition to their duties as Weekend Sports Anchor. Dave continued in this role until February 2022, when they left KARE 11 to join the Minnesota Wild.

Dave Schwartz has a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University as well as a Bachelor's in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
