Joe O'Donnell

Joe O'Donnell is currently the Social Media Specialist for the Minnesota Wild. Joe has held this position since September 2021. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Broadcasting & Team Services for the Iowa Wild from June 2013 to September 2021. In that role, they were responsible for the radio and TV play-by-play duties for the Iowa Wild, as well as providing content for the team website and social media channels. O'Donnell also negotiated broadcast rights agreements and built relationships with station management.

Prior to their time with the Iowa Wild, O'Donnell was the Director of Broadcasting & Corporate Partnerships for the Houston Aeros from September 2008 to May 2013. In that role, they were responsible for on-air talent and broadcasting, as well as corporate partnerships.

Before their time with the Aeros, O'Donnell worked as an account executive and broadcaster for the Idaho Steelheads from March 2005 to September 2008. In that role, they were responsible for broadcasting games as well as working with corporate partners.

O'Donnell began their career in broadcasting as an on-air talent for Sports Radio 610 AM in Houston from April 2010 to March 2013.

Joe O'Donnell has a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Delaware.
