Sherry Kromschroeder

Sherry Kromschroeder has a strong background in finance and budget management. Sherry is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Minnesota Zoo since December 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Finance and Budget Director at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture from November 2018 to December 2022. From April 2013 to November 2018, they held the position of Financial Management Director at the Minnesota Department of Health. Before that, they were a Regional Director of Housing at Ecumen from June 2012 to March 2013. Sherry also worked as a Finance Director at the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs from November 2006 to June 2012 and as a Senior Accounting Officer at the State of Minnesota, Department of Finance from October 2003 to June 2006.

Sherry Kromschroeder earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Inver Hills Community College from 1990-1994. Sherry later went on to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Metro State University from 2010-2014.
