Suzan Shahrestani

Suzan Shahrestani has held a variety of roles since 2011. Suzan began their career as an Adjunct Instructor at Bergen Community College in 2011. Suzan then moved on to become a Graduate Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science from 2013-2015. In 2015, they also took on the role of Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park. Finally, in 2018, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Minnowtech.

Suzan Shahrestani began their educational journey in 2004 when they graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Suzan then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Botany/Plant Biology from Hashemite University of Jordan, which they completed in 2011. Finally, Suzan Shahrestani earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Fisheries Science from the University of Maryland in 2018.
