Michael Tang

Michael Tang is the Director at Minority Corporate Counsel Association. Prior to that, they were an Associate at Fenwick & West LLP from January 2004 to December 2006 and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati from January 2001 to December 2004. Michael has extensive experience in representing public and private technology companies in a broad range of corporate and securities matters. Michael has also structured, negotiated and implemented mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases and share purchases for public and private companies. In addition, they have drafted and negotiated venture financing documents for preferred stock financings, prepared and filed Form S-1 and S-8 registration statements, and served as primary contact for legal counseling, drafting and negotiating of agreements for private companies with respect to Delaware and California corporate law, federal securities laws, securities issuances, and employee compensation and severance matters.

Michael Tang graduated from Gorton HS and then attended The Wharton School where they earned their Bachelor of Science in finance and general studies. Michael then went on to attend Columbia Law School and earned their J.D.
