Paul Olivares has extensive experience in technical support and engineering across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as a Customer Technical Advocate at Nokia since December 2021, Paul supports telecommunications Ethernet network equipment, focusing on outage management and performance reporting. Concurrently, since August 2020, Paul has been a Hardware Test and Support Engineer at Advanced Control Systems, where responsibilities include developing test plans for Linux-based Remote Terminal Units. Prior to these roles, Paul dedicated over two decades to Nokia in various capacities, including Senior Engineer for LTE and 5G solutions and previously as a Service Engineer for fiber optics. Paul began a career in technical support at Skaltec Inc as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer. Paul holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Technology, specializing in Microprocessors, from Dekalb Community College.
