Aimee Crooks

Aimee Crooks has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Aimee most recently worked at Mint Innovation as the Head of Operations since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Operational Efficiency Manager at Westpac New Zealand from July 2021 to July 2022. From May 2018 to June 2021, Aimee worked at Mineral Ltd. as the Business Development Manager, where they played a key role in operations management, digital transformation, and growth strategy implementation. Before that, they were involved in project management and trade missions at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise from June 2016 to May 2018. In their role, they collaborated with cross-government stakeholders and managed relationships with senior NZ business executives. Aimee's earlier experience includes working in the wine industry at Peregrine Wines Limited, where they managed the cellar door, sales, marketing, and digital marketing strategies. Lastly, they began their career in politics, starting as a Ministerial Secretary at the New Zealand Parliament in January 2012, and eventually rising to the position of Senior Private Secretary in the Office of Hon Murray McCully.

Aimee Crooks earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Human Geography, History, Environment, and Society from Otago. Aimee attended Otago from 2009 to 2011.
