Gabe Kalmar

Gabe Kalmar has held a variety of roles in the tech industry, beginning in 2017 as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at entrepreneurship@UBC. Gabe then moved on to become a Director at HeadCheck Health and Zennea Technologies in 2018. In 2020, Kalmar was a Director at Sonus Microsystems, BarrelWise Technologies, Bioform Technology, and Rehabtronics. Gabe currently holds the role of Director at MintList and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Abilitech Medical, Inc., both starting in 2021, and Director at SpineX starting in 2022.

Gabe Kalmar completed their education history with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Virology from Simon Fraser University between 1986 and 1989. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Virology from The University of British Columbia between 1984 and 1986. Gabe began their education journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia between 1979 and 1983.
