Surya Penmetsa has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Surya is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Idea stage investor at minto.ai, a deep tech startup focused on real-time condition monitoring for Industrial machinery using Industrial IoT and Machine learning. Prior to this, they were the CEO & Lead Architect at GlitterPoint Corporation from 2014 to 2018, where they specialized in providing Industry 4.0 solutions such as real-time asset monitoring and failure predictions for various industry verticals.

Before that, Surya worked as a Principal Consultant at Netwoven Inc from 2011 to 2014, assisting clients with their technology needs. Surya also held the position of Systems Architect at Genzyme in 2009, heading architecture efforts for a strategic digital transformation initiative. Surya began their career at OSIsoft, where they served as a Project Lead & Architect, and also worked as an Architect/Lead Developer at Netwoven Inc. and as a Sr. Software Engineer at Netkraft.

Surya Penmetsa pursued a professional degree in Electronics and Communication from the University of Madras from 1996 to 2000.
