Director, Learning And Organizational Development at Minto Group

Yin Trinh has a comprehensive work experience spanning over 23 years. Most recently, they joined Minto Group as the Director of Learning and Organizational Development in October 2021. In this role, they are responsible for developing and leading organization-wide initiatives to optimize organizational effectiveness and develop the talent pipeline. Prior to this, Yin held various positions at MD Financial Management | Gestion financière MD, including AVP of Talent Management and Manager of Talent Management. In these roles, they focused on talent strategy, learning and development initiatives, and organizational capacity improvement. Yin also worked at OCCSC as a MAPLE Business Development Coordinator and at Bell Canada in positions such as Coordinator of Training and Prioritization, Manager of Hiring and Training, Quality Assessor, and Consultant of Sales and Service. Throughout their career, Yin has demonstrated a strong expertise in talent management, learning and development, and organizational design.

Yin Trinh attended the University of Ottawa from 1994 to 1997 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with a major in Criminology. Prior to that, Yin Trinh received an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Lester B Pearson. In addition to their formal education, Yin Trinh has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Some of these certifications include Certified Local Change Agent (CLCA) from APMG International in June 2023, Workplace Mental Health Leadership Certificate Program from Queen's University in October 2022, Certified Positive Psychology Practitioner from the School of Positive Transformation in May 2021, Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coach Federation in March 2018, and Certified Social and Emotional Intelligence Coach from the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence (ISEI) in June 2015.
