Martins Sulte

Martins Sulte is the CEO and Co-Founder of Mintos. Martins has over fifteen years of experience in the finance and banking industries.

Sulte began their career as a summer intern at UniCredit in 2004. Martins then worked as a consultant at Ernst & Young from 2005 to 2006 before joining NASDAQ OMX as a summer intern in 2007.

In 2006, Sulte joined SEB Investment Banking as an analyst. Martins was promoted to associate in 2009 and worked in corporate finance until 2012. During their time at SEB, Sulte was involved in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, and leveraged finance.

In 2013, Sulte took on the role of summer intern at VisibleFunds, where they refined the strategy and business model of a startup offering online pension solutions.

Sulte co-founded Mintos in 2015. Mintos is a leading European marketplace for loans with over three million investors from 87 countries.

Martins Sulte has an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. Martins is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
