Dan focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions. He has represented companies ranging from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises, large lending institutions, and nonprofit organizations in the acquisition and disposition of industrial and commercial real properties and in the commercial leasing of office, retail, and industrial space across the United States.
Prior to joining Mintz, Dan was an associate with a large global law firm, where he recently worked on a multimillion-dollar disposition of real property and assets for a major telecommunications company; a billion-dollar, multi-property acquisition for a real estate investment trust; and leasing and real estate matters associated with a client’s acquisition of multiple veterinary practices throughout the country. He has negotiated agreements with municipalities and governmental entities in multiple states.
Earlier, as an associate at another law firm, Dan represented major lending institutions, mortgage loan servicers, and foreclosure trustees in civil actions involving fraud, quiet title, reformation of deeds, cancellation of instruments, subrogation of liens, fraudulent transfers, breach of contract, and negligence.
