Dave Azad

Dave Azad has extensive work experience in financial and investment roles. Dave started their career in 1999 as an Attorney at Latham & Watkins before transitioning to McKinsey & Company in 2000, where they served as an Associate Principal until 2006. From 2006 to 2014, Dave worked at Galen Partners as a Managing Director, focusing on private equity investments in the healthcare industry. Since 2014, they have been with MIO Partners, Inc., initially as a Portfolio Manager, leading asset allocation and investment activities in private markets. Currently, Dave holds multiple roles at MIO, including Co-Chief Investment Officer, Head of Private Investments, and Partner. Dave'sresponsibilities include overseeing the Compass Private Investments program and managing investment strategies in various areas, such as private equity and venture capital.

Dave Azad attended the University of Chicago Law School from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a J.D. degree in Law. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Duke University from 1992 to 1996, earning an A.B. degree. Before entering Duke University, Dave attended Gilman School in an unspecified period.
