Alamelu Sankaran

Alamelu Sankaran has a strong background in healthcare management and quality improvement. Alamelu is currently the Director and CEO of Vital Healthcare Technologies Limited since 2017. Previously, they served as the Vice President of Quality and Strategy at MIOT International from 2013 onwards. Alamelu also held the position of Chief Operations Officer at Frontier Lifeline Pvt. Ltd. from 2011. Additionally, Alamelu worked as the General Manager at Columbia Asia Referral Hospital from 2010 to 2012 and as the Chief Quality Officer at Global Hospital from 2009 to 2010. Alamelu started their career at Saad Specialist Hospital in 2004 as a Manager of Performance Improvement and Information Management, where they worked until 2007.

Alamelu Sankaran received their Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Healthcare Management and Leadership from California Intercontinental University in 2017. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Quality and Business Excellence at Nottinghm Trent University from 2002 to 2005. In their earlier education, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A) degree in Economics from the University of Madras, where they studied from 1976 to 1978.
