Fatemeh Mohammadi

Fatemeh Mohammadi has a diverse work experience in computer vision development, research, teaching, and engineering. Fatemeh started their career as a Quality Control Engineer at Towzin Electric Corp. in 2006 and later worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Maharan Engineering Corp. in 2007. In 2010, they became a Research Assistant at Amirkabir University of Technology, where they completed joint projects between the Automation & Intelligent Monitoring System (AIMS) Lab and Optical Measurement Lab. Fatemeh also worked as an electrical engineer at the Research Center of Amirkabir University during that time. Fatemeh then joined the University of Waterloo in 2013, firstly as a Research Assistant and later as a Teaching Assistant until 2017. Fatemeh then joined 2G Robotics Inc. in 2017 as a Vision System Researcher. In 2018, Fatemeh started working at Miovision as a Computer Vision Developer and later became a Senior Computer Vision Developer in September 2021.

Fatemeh Mohammadi completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from 2008 to 2010. Fatemeh also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, although the exact timeframe for this degree is not provided.
