Justin Schieck has a diverse work experience across various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, they worked at Randstad as an Assembler, responsible for assembling and repairing the Z10 for BlackBerry. In 2015, they joined The Upper Room Family Restaurant as a Line Cook. Justin then worked at Tim Hortons as a Front Counter staff in 2013-2014.

In 2016, Justin enrolled in the COPR - Two-year computer programming course at Georgian College, where they studied HTML, CSS, JS, C++, C#, and Node. Justin completed the course with a Dean's list on all four semesters and a GPA of 83. During this time, they also worked as a Library Navigator/Technological Support for the college.

Their responsibilities include working with mainstream technologies to maintain and transfer older legacy code to a newer Angular-based front end. Justin also works with Angular and TypeScript to create an internal front end for company users. This role started in August 2021 and is ongoing.

Justin Schieck received their high school diploma in 2009 from Norwell DSS. Following that, they pursued a certificate in Tool and Die Technology/Technician from Conestoga College, which they completed in 2012. In 2016, Justin enrolled at Georgian College and obtained an associate's degree in Computer Programming in 2017. Justin also completed a Computer Programmer Diploma from Georgian College in 2017.

In terms of additional certifications, Justin received a Problem Solving (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank in October 2020. In March 2019, they obtained a WCAG/AODA SME Certification from Deque Systems, Inc. Justin also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Computer and Text Neck Stretching Exercises" in April 2021, "Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals" in October 2022, "Learning the OWASP Top 10" in November 2022, "Prioritizing Your Tasks" in December 2022, "Kubernetes: The Documentary" in December 2022, "Out and Proud: Approaching LGBT Issues in the Workplace" in March 2023, "Building Angular and ASP.NET Web API Apps" in April 2023, and "Advanced Design Patterns: Design Principles" in May 2023.

Additionally, Justin obtained a Worksmart Certification from the Ontario Ministry of Labour in February 2016. Justin also holds an Emergency First Aid and CPR certification, although the institution and specific date of obtaining this certification are not provided.
