Anish Roy

Anish Roy has a diverse work experience. Anish started their career at ANZ in 2009 as a Decision Model Analyst, where they built origination and collection scorecards for credit card portfolios. Anish also reviewed existing LGD methodology for all portfolios and recommended a new LGD modelling framework. Anish then became a Retail Modelling Senior Analyst at ANZ, developing models to estimate Basel parameters for retail portfolios like mortgage and credit cards. This involved performing impact analysis on capital metrics using the new estimates. Anish joined MiQ in 2013 as a Senior Business Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Lead, R&D. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Analytics at MiQ.

Anish Roy pursued their undergraduate education at the Indian Statistical Institute from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Statistics degree with a focus on Statistics. Anish then went on to complete their postgraduate education at the same institution from 2007 to 2009, attaining a Master of Statistics degree.
