Katie Funk

Katie Funk has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Katie began their career as a CURO Summer Fellow and later became a CURO Teaching Assistant and Honors Program Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia. Katie then served as a Financial Intern at Newell Recycling, LLC, where they worked on financial and logistical projects using Excel. Katie co-founded Axon Tutors, Inc., an online tutoring platform, and served as the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer. At TMS, they joined the Tutor Matching Service team after they acquired Axon and became the Co-Director, leading expansion and product development. Currently, Katie is with MiQ, where they have held various roles, including Senior Trader, Regional Trading Manager, RVP Trading, and VP Trading for the Mid-Atlantic and South regions.

Katie Funk obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance from The University of Georgia. In September 2020, they also obtained a Xandr Invest Certificate from Xandr.
