John Luciw, CSPO®, KSD, AHPP

John Luciw has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. John currently serves as the Director of Agile Project Delivery at MIR Digital Solutions, where they lead and guides project teams and drives strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Product Owner at the same company and has 15+ years of experience delivering successful products. John led Dynamics 365 implementation for a mining contracting company, utilizing Agile methodologies and stakeholder engagement to ensure on-time and within-budget module implementations.

Before joining MIR Digital Solutions, John worked at AsiaXPAT for over two decades, holding various roles. As the Senior Digital Product Owner and company shareholder, they led the development of a B2B/B2C e-commerce marketplace for English-speaking communities in the Asia Pacific. John oversaw all product development and implemented user engagement and revenue growth strategies, making the marketplace a market leader.

At AsiaXPAT, they also served as the Director of Operations, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities and managing teams responsible for customer support, sales, and marketing. Additionally, they ensured the development and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure.

Prior to their time at AsiaXPAT, John worked as an Account Manager at Compuware and Bell & Howell Mail and Messaging Technologies. John began their career at Norman Wade Co. Ltd. as a Territory Sales Manager/Office Manager.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, leveraging agile methodologies and business acumen to drive successful outcomes for their teams and deliver valuable products.

John Luciw obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law and Justice from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, which they completed from 1987 to 1991. John also holds a Systems Administrator - Network Computing Diploma from The Institute for Computer Studies, which they obtained in October 1999. Additionally, they have earned certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in September 2021 and Agile Hybrid Project Pro from the Project Management Institute in December 2022. John has also obtained various other certifications in fields such as digital product management, Microsoft Teams, data analytics, and search engine marketing, among others.
