David Beckett

David Beckett is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Senior Product Manager and Senior Field Application Engineer at Mira Security since March 2020, focusing on the development and deployment of enterprise SSL Encryption/Decryption appliances. Prior to this role, David worked at Netronome from July 2017 to June 2021, where responsibilities included developing IP/TCP applications and leading the SmartNIC engineering test team, with contributions to eBPF and network card firmware. Earlier in the career, David was a Software Engineer and Cyber Security Researcher at Queen's University Belfast from January 2014 to June 2017, specializing in Distributed Denial of Service research and machine learning classification. David holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast, earned between 2008 and 2013.
