Kaitlin Fisher

Kaitlin Fisher, Ph.D., currently serves as Co-Chair of the Institutional Program Review Committee and Professor at MiraCosta College, where responsibilities include overseeing program review authorship, achieving accreditation standards, conducting data analysis, and providing mentorship across disciplines. With a background in teaching advanced chemistry courses, Fisher aims to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for diverse student groups. Prior experience includes positions at California State University San Marcos, UCSD, and Sonoma State University, where roles encompassed academic program coordination, independent consulting in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, and mentoring high school students in scientific research. Fisher holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Chemistry from Sonoma State University.
