Lance Dumais

Lance Dumais is an experienced film educator and freelance professional, currently serving as Associate Faculty at MiraCosta College since January 2019, where courses taught include Film 101 and Film 105 in various formats. With a diverse background as a Writer/Producer/Director since January 2012, Lance has worked on a range of projects from commercials to feature films. Previous teaching roles include Adjunct Professor at California State University, Fullerton, and Film Instructor positions at SCRIPPS PERFORMING ARTS INC and Orange County School of the Arts, focusing on screenwriting and genre studies. Lance holds a Master's degree in Screenwriting from California State University, Fullerton, and a BA in Film and Electronic Arts from California State University, Long Beach.
