Nadia Khan is an accomplished instructional designer and English language learner (ELL) instructor with extensive experience in educational roles across various institutions. Currently, Nadia serves as an Instructional Designer and ELL Instructor at MiraCosta College since June 2019. Concurrently, Nadia is a member of the Equity and Diversity Action Committee for the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges from August 2021 to August 2024. Previous positions include roles as an ACE Tesol Practicum Supervisor and ELL Instructor at Bow Valley College, where Nadia also held the position of Chair of the Academic Council. Additionally, Nadia served as co-chair of the Calgary local for the Alberta Teachers of English as a Second Language (ATESL). Prior experience includes teaching ESL at the University of Calgary and a lecturing position at Kinnaird College for Women. Nadia holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Kinnaird College for Women, as well as a Master of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics from the University of Management and Technology.
