Raj Brown, PLA, currently serves as the Director and Curator of Horticulture at the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance since July 2019 and is also an Associate Faculty member in the Department of Horticulture at Mira Costa Community College, where responsibilities include lecturing and lab instruction. Previous roles include Vice President of Design, Construction and Sustainability at Heaviland Landscape Management and Director of Resource Management, alongside positions as a lecturer and instructor at San Diego Botanic Garden and owner of RB Landscape Design and Environmental Consulting. Educational qualifications include a Master of Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, an MBA from California State University San Marcos, and a Bachelor of Arts from UC Santa Barbara.
