Doug Philip has a diverse work experience in the medical industry. Doug started their career as a Radiologic Technologist at Duke University Health System in 1996. Doug then worked as a Nuclear Medicine and PET Imaging Technologist at UNC Hospitals from 1997 to 2003. Doug joined CTI Molecular Imaging in 2003 as a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Field Applications Specialist. In 2004, they moved to Siemens Medical Solutions and worked as a Senior Clinical Applications Specialist until 2007. Doug then became a Clinical Education Instructor for PET/CT Imaging until 2010. In 2010, they briefly worked at Cary Cardiology as a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist before joining Mirada Medical. At Mirada Medical, they have held various roles including Product Specialist, Product Manager, Senior Solutions Manager, and Senior Manager of Solutions and Support. Doug is currently the Director of Customer Success.
Doug Philip's education history begins in 1994 when they attended the Wilkes Regional Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology. Doug obtained a Certificate in Radiologic Technology from this institution in 1996. Afterward, in 1996, they joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Nuclear Medicine Program, where they earned a Certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology in 1997. During this time, they also became a Radiologic Technologist by obtaining a certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in July 1996.
In 1999, Doug enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Science, which they completed in 2003.
Later on, from 2007 to 2009, Doug pursued an MBA degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Kenan-Flagler Business School. The field of study for their MBA degree is not specified.
In terms of additional certifications, Doug obtained the Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in August 1997. Doug also became a Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine, certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in October 1997. Additionally, Doug obtained the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in June 2012.
