John Jainschigg

John Jainschigg is an experienced leader in the fields of open source technologies and cloud-native solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Open Source Initiatives at Mirantis since June 2022, John focuses on enhancing developer productivity and improving open source software within the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem. Previous roles include Product and Content Marketing at TetraScience, where John contributed to the Tetra Data Platform for Life Sciences, as well as several positions at Mirantis, including Director of Content and Senior Technical Marketing Manager. John's diverse experience also encompasses technical content leadership at Opsview, business development at Ivey Poker, and CEO of World2Worlds, a digital agency. An earlier career in publishing saw John as Executive Director at both Ziff Davis Enterprise and UBM Tech. John holds a degree from Columbia University.
