Wenqian Deng

Yao Liu is a UX Designer at Miravel since May 2023, contributing to the development of a mobile app aimed at enhancing user experience for a startup focused on decentralizing agriculture. Concurrently serving as a UX Design Apprentice at Tech Fleet Community DAO since March 2023, Yao collaborates with cross-functional teams to create a responsive web application for a health tech initiative. Prior experience includes roles as an Optometric Assistant at ELSA PAO OD INC, where Yao designed a website and established standard operating procedures, and as a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator at Alcon, managing participant recruitment and communications for clinical studies. Additional experience includes significant growth in social media engagement as a Social Media Coordinator for the Associated Students of UCLA Marketing and leadership responsibilities as a Team Leader at Galileo Learning. Yao obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology and a minor in Global Health from UCLA and holds a UI/UX Design Certification from Springboard.
