Robert (Rob) McGuire

Rob McGuire has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Robert (Rob) started their career as a Paramedic at Campbellford Memorial Hospital Ambulance in 1981, providing emergency care and transportation in a rural setting. Robert (Rob) later worked as a Paramedic at Midland Ambulance and Wasaga Beach Ambulance before transitioning to nursing.

In 1987, Rob became an Emergency Room Registered Nurse at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Robert (Rob) then joined London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) in 1988 as a Surgical Registered Nurse, specializing in post-operative care for head and neck cancer and trauma patients.

After 14 years at LHSC, Rob joined Theramed Corporation in 1998 as a Territory Sales Manager. During their time there, they sold wound care and thyroid supplementation products before partnering with Genzyme to launch Thyrogen for thyroid cancer.

In 2012, Rob joined Aralez Pharmaceuticals Inc. as a Territory Account Manager, focusing on pain-based products such as Cambia, Durela, and NeoVisc.
