Florian Wenzel

Florian Wenzel is the Co-Founder and CTO of Mirelo AI, focusing on generative foundation models for music and sound since November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Scientist at Amazon Web Services from November 2021 to October 2023, specializing in deep learning and large language models, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Google from October 2019 to September 2021, concentrating on reliable deep learning and large vision models. Wenzel has also served as a Visiting Researcher at Technische Universität Berlin and as a Research Associate at both the University of Kaiserslautern and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, primarily researching Bayesian deep learning and probabilistic models. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Machine Learning, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, all obtained from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
