Sean Seibel

Sean Seibel currently serves as the Chief Product & Technology Officer at Mirimus. Prior to this, they were the Chief Product Officer at Envisagenics from September 2016 to May 2019.

At Envisagenics, Sean led product vision, management, design, engineering, and security. Sean also launched SpliceCore, an AI for drug discovery, experimentation, and data visualization platform. Sean managed cross-functional teams including leadership, scientists, engineers, and partners by introducing agile methodologies with Jira. The product was built with Python, R, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, SQL, Plotly Dash, D3, and Azure cloud services.

Sean leveraged their experience at Microsoft to gain access to startup and partner programs such as BizSpark, Microsoft for Startups, and Partner Network. This significantly reduced cloud costs and led to a $1M investment from M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund.

Sean Seibel has a MBA Essentials from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, a Neuroscience degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and certifications from FINRA in Series 31 Futures Managed Funds, Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law, and Series 7 General Securities Representative.

Sean Seibel reports to Prem Premsrirut, Founder & CEO. They work with Helen Hoxie - Lab Scientific Manager, Hui-Ting Cheng - Head Scientist, and Chia-Lin Wang - Director of Genetic Engineering.
